Fiorella Briz is an Ecuadorian illustrator, designer and tattoo artist currently based in Barcelona. Her work is deeply personal and diaristic, often exploring the emotional landscape of everyday life and the complexities of the human experience.
Through drawing, Fiorella examines themes related to the body, vulnerability, intimacy and self-reflection. Her images often combine softness and honesty, creating spaces where emotions that are usually kept private can exist openly. Although her visual language can appear playful or approachable, it frequently carries an introspective and autobiographical core.
Her practice moves fluidly between illustration, tattooing and visual storytelling. Working across both digital and traditional techniques, she is particularly interested in how drawing can function as a form of narrative and connection between people.
Fiorella has exhibited her work in Barcelona at Krukopia and Galería Marzia, and completed an artist residency at Fremantle Contemporary Arts in Perth, Australia. She is currently developing her first graphic novel while continuing to expand her illustration and tattoo practice.
